- Can live with children, 10 plus
- Would like the company of another dog or dogs
Pica is a super little greyhound boy. At just three years old he will make a fantastic pet for someone.
Pica has been with us for a while now, because he had a little accident and needed some time to recover from it. Pica was out for a walk with his foster mum, and enjoying the company of some new canine friends when one of his new buddies accidentally bundled into him side on when they were playing. We took him to the vets to get him checked out, and he had a broken hock. He had surgery which went well, and his hock was neatly pinned and plated. Pica unfortunately got an infection but eventually had the pins and plate removed. After lots of TLC and cuddles, he is healed and as good as new! We tell you all this only so you know what an incredibly amazing dog Pica is!
He is in foster with six other dogs, and despite being unwell, he was happier staying with them all as he loves other dogs. Pica is a happy, content and amazing house-mate. His foster mum is in awe of his fantastic nature. This is what she has to say:
“My lovely, shining boy who is always smiling! An amazing lad with a great temperament and lovely to have around the house. He is only a young man, just three years old and has come on in leaps and bounds over the weeks I have had him. He is house-trained and has already learnt lots of new tricks. Whoever gets this boy will have the best boy they could ask for. He is a great dog with loads of potential and a lot to give. Super boy, I will be very sorry to see him go but can’t wait to see him happy in his new home.”
Pica would love to live with another dog (or dogs!) and will make an amazing family pet.
